I want to know how everyone is getting the back panel right where it says Camaro black with the chrome lettering. Is everyone painting that? or is there a place that sells that panel in black. Or are people just buying it off a black camaro? please someone let me know if you know. THanx

 

Most people pull it off and paint it themselves. You can buy it from a black car, but you might have to wait a while before you find a black car being parted out. Then you have to wonder about the quality of the existing paint. The chrome letters are achieved either by buying metal inserts or chrome vinyl inserts.

 

bought a spare from the junkyard, sanded the key marks out of it, bought some steel letters, and swapped it out
