I've been waiting over half of my life to see a decent video of a C8, and Best of Show Automotive just delivered today. I couldn't be happier! I also couldn't be happier, because it's the 1 and only C8 that came with the SuperNatural 500 package! And it just happens to have only a little over 1000 miles on it, so it's still brand new!

If a Porsche (or Aston Martin if you prefer) and a Camaro had a baby, this is the high quality, high performance, smooth running car you'd get. Awesome.

Leave the negative comments about its looks aside for right now, and let's all just marvel in the fact that this is the first time we've gotten to see one of these 1-of-18 Callaways in video form.

It's a lot quieter than I thought it would be. Very Porschelike or Aston Martinlike than Ferrarilike like I anticipated.

pretty sweet. i saw one at the atlanta f-body gathering prob 5+yrs ago. it was a base callaway car. don't know what was done to the motor but it had the whole body kit for sure.

Based on what you said (and my memory), was this one you saw the black one with gold/pewter stripes?

 

All I ever wanted was that rear bumper. GM should've done that to give the car a new look vs going the catfish route. My friend bought their body kit about 5 or 6 yrs ago for a cost of 5K! I wasn't a fan of it until I saw it in person w/ 69 hugger paint and Fiske FM5's on it & slammed. Thing of beauty.

Yep, that' s my boy. Haven't heard from him since I left Germany last summer. He's actually selling it and IF I can get a hold of him I'm buying it as my 2nd project.

It's a '93 and has over 100,000 miles, so I told him I wasn't interested a couple of years ago. It'd be an awesome car to have for sure though.
