Caliper painting?
Here's what I did with mine. They turned out really well and still look good 9 months later. I cleaned the caliper really well with a wire brush and brake cleaner. Kept going over it until I figured it was clean. Then I sprayed some caliper paint into a container and used a regular paint brush to brush the paint onto the caliper. Gave it a couple coats and left it. I didn't take the caliper off the car. They looked good and I bought some caliper decals to finish them off. I didn't use primer, although some people reccomend it. I just figured that if the paint wore off in a year then I'd just go at them with the wire brush again and redo it because it was so easy.

I painted mine using duplicolor paint, and clear coat, and clean metal primer. I cleaned the calipers with brake cleaner and sandpaper, and then used the primer, then sprayed the base paint, then applied the decals, and then clear coated over them. I have some pics here:

that does looks sweet man. and you're right about the salad shooters, they hide the calipers way too much
