i didn't disarm mine because at the time i'd never heard of one going off from unplugging it. i just unbolted the airback from the back of the steering wheel and unplugged it. then theres a big *** nut you have to take off, and you need a wheel puller and the 2 bolts to go into the wheel, and it pops right off. I would suggest killing your battery just in case, but my airbag was fine just unlugging it

C5 wheel won't just bolt up . The center hole in the wheel is smaller than the F-body . Youd have re-spline the hole in the vette steering wheel to work with the F-body upper steering shaft . $$$ Or you could replace the f-body upper steering shaft with a c5 upper shaft , that would swap over , but it is a pita tearing the steering column apart , then getting it all back together .

Nice job on the conversion of your 95, 2 questions, how did you get the 97+ guage cluster to work? and is that a stock pontiac radio you have or after market

If its stock is it a direct fit or did you have to modify?

97 cluster works in pre 97 Firebirds . Only the 97 though , 98-02 will not function right . ODO reads and logs miles as it should . The CD player is a factory pontiac , but its a double din in dash 6 disc changer radio out of a 2004 Vibe . I did have to clearence the dash and cut apart and re-make the radio/heater controls bezel for it to look factory .
