No they don't bolt in. I suppose anything is possible though (if you got money)!

I am assuming the C5 seats were narrower?

I don't know about narrower but the floorpan shapes are different on the two cars and therefore the tracks/mounting are going to be different. There are universal seat mounting bracket kits out there though, or you could make your own.

So with a little ingenuity yes I'm sure you can make it work, but its not a "bolt in"

Re: C5 seats in a 4th gen?

I experimented with trying to make brackets so I could retain the use of the C5 sport seat power tracks in my installation, but ended up taking them off and using the stock Firebird manual seat tracks. I would assume you could also use the F-body power seat track on the drivers seat.

New holes need to be drilled in the C5 seat frames and the F-body seat tracks and spacers installed between the frame and track.

The overall width of the C5 seat is about 1 inch narrower than the Firebird seat.

I don't have any photos of how I bolted the tracks to seat, but could take some when I take the seats out after my new seat covers arrive.

Wow! Let me be the first to say that looks damn good! That's one of the best seat conversions I've ever seen, if not THE best looking seats in an FBody.

Re: C5 seats in a 4th gen?

Thanks for the compliments
There are still a few things that need some finishing touches but overall I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Heres the convertible with the C5 seat in the back. http://www.extreme-z.com/appearance/...nterior?page=4

I wouldn't be able to use my tonneau or much less afford the the seats in the rear too.

I'd really like to see how you did that. Are you planning on going to the PDE event this year? Or a meeting in the future?
