These bug spots on the front of my cars are etched in the clear coat. Whoever the previous owner was must have never washed the car! I really bothers my everytime I wash the car. Does it have to be repainted? Or is there a polishing compound that will remove the damaged clear coat layer? I want to get stripes but I am afraid of putting on stripes over that area on the front because the clear coat is a little ruff and it might show through. Any suggestions?
