Brushed Aluminum CD player install panel....

Wondering if anyone has pics of what one of THESE would look like, except with the 'Brushed Aluminum' option like THIS (pics at bottom) would look like on a 97++ dash?

Would be pretty sweet to have the lower mount one, aluminum and put fan switches/LEDs and whatnot above the head unit, I think.

Yea, it looks nice. However I am not a fan of the imcomplete "A's" and "O" in the "Camaro." I think I could live with that for the clean, factory look the panel portrays.

found some more pics if anyone is interested:

also, this look weird to you guys: http://maptechenterprises.netfirms.c...-installed.jpg

seems that a unit with a fold down front face(not hiding face or LCD or anything, just folding front face to insert the CD) would hit/interfer with the stock plastic trim ring? eh?

I knew someone who had that particular model DVD player. And the LCD comes out, then up 90 degrees. After that you can adjust the LCD panel forward or backwards to your preferences. As far as the CD's or DVD's go, you just insert them in the bottom where the opening is as it does not move at all. If you use that

The other photos look good and it appears that the CD players with a fold out face are set outwards a little more from the panel to allow the player to open.

What really sucks is that I haven't had my dash kit for very long and it's already dimming on the right side. The problem may be that because it's always on - day and night - it needs higher quality bulbs. What a pain in the ****ing ***.

Dimming? I thought they were LEDs? They shouldn't dim should they, shouldn't they be on or off, no in between? Maybe your LEDs pushed through out the back a little?
