Brighter Lights
First off, im not really sure where i should post this question.
My lights are not bright enough for my tastes. Ive seen some people putting in severl hundred dollar conversion kits. Why cant you just swap bulbs, is it something with the voltage or amps or something??
If i got higher intenity fog lights would that help. Its just with my low beams, highs provide ample light coverage.
Sorry if that dosnt make sense, I have a tendecy to ramble. Thanks. Oh yeah, car is a 97 Z28. Thanks again.

you should try getting like naxos lights. i have those on my car and it made a huge difference. when i drive people flash me telling me my brights are on, but there not. there like forty bucks but im not sure for the 97 model. does it have the bulb or do you have to replace the bulb with the housing? my 93 did that.

You can just swap bulbs with the '93-'97 cars, just takes a little creativity
. Take a look at my lighting guide in my SIG for some of your options.
If you are really trying to improve lighting rather than just get a look, your best bet is to start with your fog lights, then a headlight conversion (in terems of cost). Rather than just replace or use higher wattage fog bulbs, a complete aftermarket system is the best way. Many lights such as the Piaa 1500, 1100, 1000, Catz MSX, MSR and Hella FF 75 will all fit. Some are identical to stock in terms of size like the Piaa 1500 and Catz MSX. Others might take some patience as they are a tight fit, but all of them will work.

I did the Hella Free Form conversion and am running 5000k H7 bulbs. I am happy with the results, until I have $1000 for a Stage II HID kit.
