Brents Vynls

Just got some overlays from brent. If your reading this brent. They look great. And I will post some pic's when they are on. My question is for those of you who have them. Did you put a coat or two of wax over the decals after you were done or just leave them? Thanks

Re: Brents Vynls

I cut my own overlays out, and never put wax on them. I use the 7-10 year outdoor vinyl colors and 5 year outdoor Metallic colors, as I am sure Brent does. I bought Camaro inlays and caliper decals off him for my 98 Z last year before selling it. Very good quality and fit!! It wouldn't hurt to wax them, I just take a fine bristle brush to get the dried wax from around the lettering or emblem.

Re: Brents Vynls

Glad you like them

You can wax over the vinyl but it really isn't necessary. I used to wax over my stripes all the time. If I got wax on the rear inserts, no biggie either. I generally tried to stay away from the emblem overlays though because they are more "delicate" so to speak. But, basically, no problem with getting wax on the vinyl.
