on the 2005 gto's they have a third brake light inside the car that is clear. now does anyone know if this would fit inside the 2002 ss spoilers? i would love to have that light clear.

wouldn't be easier to get like a custom piece of plexiglass or something to cover the 3rd brake light? then it'd be clear.

 

only thing is that it wouldn't look flush/clean and you would have to glue it on and you would still see the red lense.

would it not be possible to clear out the factory one? I know people have made their own clear lights with a hairdryer or somethin...just a thought.

 

i have no clue.. wish more people would look at this post and throughout some ideas, i can;t be the only one to want to have a clear ss led light.

 

How are you going to still see red if you put a piece of plexi or acrylic over the light? REPLACE the red part of the lens, just like the Firebird guys do for clear corners.

 

do you know any guys on this site with a firebird i can ask some questions about with this idea..

 

Do a search on google for DIY clear lenses, you should come up with a bunch of different how-to websites; this is what gave me the basics for clearning my corners which I did over 5 years ago, and they still work/look perfect.
