Brake appearance q's
Brake appearance q's
What's up everyone. I'm going through my brakes pretty soon with new hawks and a set of ssb brake lines. While everythings off I want to finish up that area appearance-wise, so I got two questions for y'all.
First off, I think I'm going to paint my stock calipers. My cars black so I'm trying to think of what color goes with it. Red of course is obvious but I was thinking of a really dark shade. Another possibility is black, but I've never seen that before so I was wondering if anyoen has some nice pics of those two choices.
Also, I bought NAPA rear rotors after I scored my stockers pretty good. Problem now is the surface rust that shows up on the hat area, where the wheel directly mounts to. It looks horrible. Any cheap ways to take care of this. I take it I'm going to have to sand down the rust now, but how do I stop it from coming back? I was thinking of spray painting it with the high temp stuff, but it might look wierd, unless I can get that perfect shade of metallic silver.
Thanks for any help.

Gonna be bad.Oops, let me explain. Not the part where the pad touches, the raised part, the part that rises up to meet the wheel.
