bowtie emblem question

I went on yearone.com to look for replacement emblems for my '97 Z28. The previous owner painted the bowtie on the front grill some faggish purple color
The web site showed 2 parts, one for '93 to '97 (red) and one for 30th anniversary. What does the 30th one look like? There were no pictures.

Re: bowtie emblem question

The 30th has a white border instead of black and is a hugger orange bowtie instead of red

I don't know how much they are at yearone, but you can buy them on ebay for $8. They are gm as well. That's where I bought mine.

Re: bowtie emblem question

Why not just try stripping the paint off. If he rattle canned it the paint will probably come off with some thinner. If not just repaint it. Mine was red when i got the car and i just painted it black.
