I bought a set for a good price and they are painted silver. I've tried spray on and brush on surface remover from Autozone and neither works very well. I'm getting these rims mounted in a week so what do I do?

 

Are you trying to repaint them?

If you can't get it off they might be powder coated.

 

Well I don't see the point of having silver rims when it's shiny aluminum underneath. Looks cheap right now. He told me he spray painted them, so there must be a ton on there. Looks great without the paint though, but took way too long to do just one rim.
