if i get 18''x9.5 corvette y2k rims on my v6 are they gonna fit?? and is it easy enough to just do in my backyard?? also the SS ram air hoods from rksports.com is that an easy job to install one of those on my 3.8???

The rims and hood are a direct bolt on. You will want to get a friend to help you lift off the old hood and put on the new one.

also i wanted to know wut a good low profile tire is to go with my 18s...cuz i dont want to slow myself down with the larger wheel=larger diameter=slower car. so i figure if i get a nice low pro tire, i can have the same diameter as if i had the stock wheels.
