I know this car is famous round here, but which kit, and spoiler is on it?

From what I remember, the owner was saying that the front is a custom made piece that was inspired by the C5 vette. The sides and rear look like wings west pieces.

 

Isn't that Whistlers car? Do a search for "Whistlers targa top".

 

Will do, I really hope that isn't a custom-one-only front fascia, but I'm sure you two are right.

How about this kit as a back-up?

YES that is whistlers car . Just do a search on WHISTLER and you can see
all the custom stuff he has made

 

 

Body kits are a love-hate relationship w/ people of these forums...some people love them, and some people hate them. Maybe something more subtle like the RKSport body kit, if any at all...

 

Well the people on the forums don't own my car. The one I linked too is similar to the Rk sport kit, but I like the Xenon kit better.

Besides neither of the kits are really "body kits" just a few add-on pieces of accent trim that add a touch of flare.

 

That's the attitude people need to have around her more often.

 

just curious - what color is your car and any pics -

that would help a lot- but i personally like that secondary kit- that and the wingswest custom are my favorites

 

Thats pretty much my stance on appearance mods: Whatever floats your boat. *BUT* I will tell you my opinion if you ask for it. If you post a topic like "What do you think of my underglow neons, altezzas and my badass erector-set spoiler", I'll tell you my honest opinion. I won't start **** if you don't ask. I, personally, prefer the look of a lowered f-body to body kits. But once again, whatever floats your boat.

I'll have pics in a few days, although you might be a tad dissapointed. My car was love tapped in front, and I got a killer deal on it. That's why I am looking at "kits". I have to replace the nose, fender, and get a paintjob anyway, so if I find a kit that I like I'll go for it. It's a 00 RS, and I have plans for a V8 later next year. The V6 only has 22k on it and I want to see what I can get out of it first.

I didn't ask at anytime what your opinion was ReNxWar, or anyone elses on the kits.

The question in the first post was "What body kit is this?". The second post's was meant as "is LMP a reputable company?". I guess you could read it as "is this second kit cool? lolz" or similar though.

I also like lowered cars, I have had a prokit and it's brother. So this car will be lowered too, I like the sleek look of the car in the second pic, I think it's dropped as well.

My car is the same color as the two above, and it's growing on me. I don't know if I want to keep that color or go with the two-tone theme I had planned w/ no ground effects.

(for you "OMG two-tone?!" people, I ran a ps'd pic across some of the worse rice hatin' people around, and they all loved the pic)

well as far as LMP performance ive never dealt with them - but it seems all the kits on the site are either wingswest or RKsport or SLP -

so all of them are major companies - i know wings west has probably the best reputation out of all of them- didnt find the kit with the pic u posted though

 

Yeah I noticed that, which is what made me unsure about them. Not to mention the mark-up I would probably have to pay.

The kit in the second picture is the Xenon kit made by another company, it can be found on LMP's site. The kit is mass produced and I've seen it around a few times, so at least I can find a source for it elsewhere.

How many kits does WingsWest have? I found only one on their site, and it was too fat? for me.

 

Wings West has 1, RKSport has 1, Xenon has 1, Vizage has 1, and GM has 1. There's a few other body kits from Japan too...
