Black spoiler on red car?

I found a RK Sport style spoiler at the local junk yard for 100, and I'm pretty sure I'm buying it cause that's a good deal. The thing is that my car is red, with a black top so I'm not too sure about putting the black spoiler on the car before I get it painted. My buddy thinks it would look badass, but I'm not sure. Anybody have pics of a car with this setup?

if its the taller one, i dont think it would look bad at all. buy it for sure tho, install it, if you decide you need to have it red, paint it up, or get it painted by a shop and throw it back on. not a big deal at all. id install it tho first and see how u like it. with a black roof, and tinted windows, it would prolly look pretty sick. as long as its not the whole spoiler where it blends into the hatch and rest of the car, it wont look bad since it wont just stop and change color, if you know what im saying. my t/a spolier is all black, but it blends pretty nicely so it doesnt look bad IMO at least. just make sure it flows or goes with the rest of the car. if it doesnt look like an afterthought, then it wont look bad.

Yeah, I've saw pictures of your car before, and that's what I thought of when I saw the spoiler. I'll be going for it tomorrow as long as nothing drastic happens.

sweet. it should deffintiely look ****. as long as it sits higher than the stock one (otherwise it will just blend in, but not match paint which will look stupid) then it should look sweet. i just rememberd i have some decent pics of my old Z with a black wings west on it. this should give you an idea, although its a bit taller than normal...

Yeah, it's actually just about exactly like that, it's a high rise spoiler. That looks awesome. I love your Camaro, I've never seen a yellow Camaro I liked before that one.

haha, it had the stock bose system which was only cassette and i wanted CD, so when my sister got a Panasonic installer in her car, i took her factory one. It's out of a 99 Mercury Cougar. hehe. wiring wasnt too bad and i had to cut a few things behind the dash, but it fit well for what it was.haha

I have a bra on the front of my car so that's pretty spot on actually. I'm definitely going to buy the spoiler.

Looks like teh pooh to me. I don't like that spoiler much anyway, but being different from body color makes it that much worse...black top or not.
