Re: black rear panel

It's commonly referred to as the "Berger panel" and it's just the stock rear panel, simply repainted (usually satin or flat black). All you need to do is take yours off and get it sprayed, or paint it yourself.

If you don't want to paint your current rear panel, try junk yards or check around on the boards for someone selling theirs.

Re: black rear panel

There's usually a high number of rear panels being sold on the boards at any given time...some already painted black, others may not be. I've seen many of them go for the fifty dollar range.

Remove the tail lights by unscrewing the plastic wingnuts on wach light then remove the 4 10mm nuts on the rear panel. One in each corner and one on each side of the middle. To install just do the reverse. Takes 5 min to remove and 2 min to install

For body work check out the write up i made in my sig. it isnt finished yet but you can get a general idea of the procedures. I will have pics up tomorrow.

Re: black rear panel

wow, that is much easier then i was expecting. i, for some reason, thought you would have to take the bumper off to get the panel out.

thanks for letting me know that, going to order one soon.

Re: black rear panel

Just do it yourself, why spend 50 bucks when you can get it done for a fraction of that.
