black/dark grey wheels? opinions please

Right now I got a polo green t-top 94 z28 with 16" chrome ss style american racing wheels on it. I guess I'm really not a chromy kind of guy. I'm looking for ideas or opinions on a black or grey/dark grey wheel to get instead.

The redneck in me wants them black wagons or circle track style rims.

I'm not really into real thin spokes either. I'd go for something like old dodge style slots probly.

I was thinking about getting my set of salad shooters coated in like dark grey or satin finish black.

If anybody has seen or has an idea for cool looking dark colored rims on a green or dark painted Z please post up!

i love black wheels. There are a few people with black salad shooters, but i dont like them. See my site "Teal Terror" for pics of my wheels

 

i cant stand black wheels. why waste money on something that detracts from the car. i would stick with chrome or polished aluminum. looks so much better when they are all shined up. but thats just my opinion.

 

like Im not a huge fan of the standard 5 spoke blackys - im not sure what the style is called

but I think a carefully placed non-chrome looks great!

dam see those are the 5 pokers i said i wasnt too hot for but they look great on both those cars!

 

i love black wheels. definatley sets the car apart from others on the road, and they are an eye catcher
