almost too dark, need a lighter paint.

we'll see what mine will look like tomorrow. i'm bringin the car home sat morning. and i'l switch my panels out.

Its the flat black gm uses for the black around the headlights. It matches my headlights and front grill.

I completely agree. Just like when people have a carbon fiber hood and leave it black....looks unfinished.

Having a black panel on my pewter looks good. But a black car that is nice and shiny all around then flat in the back just looks crappy....sorry but it does. It looks like the car got into an accident and you put a primered black piece in the back until you can get it painted. I have seen a black with a silver panel and silver 30th Z28 stripes, chrome yk2's...looked pretty good.

I also saw a black with a Sunset orange metalic panel and SOM stripes and black zr1's. Looked ok.
