Billet SS Hood Scoop insert

Anyone know of any companies that make a billet hood scoop insert for a factory SS hood????? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Don't know for sure, but MBA might have them. I'm positive I've seen them on ebay before though. If it doesn't work out, you could just take the black factory insert out and paint it silver. Hope this helps a bit (it probably doesn't) .

yeah, I saw that article this morning in GM High Tech, and got on their website, emailed them, but they dont have it either. They said that someone on this board might know......

That looks nice....looks like I have another twin....nice car. Picking up the Chrome RK sport SS emblems this afternoon I just ordered a new insert for the hood because some dumbass who had the car before me painted it red, then black again, and its chipped and looks like A$$.

I think that it just snaps out, havent taken mine out yet, not till I get the new factory one......

will let you know when I do it though

well if I break my old one, I wont really mind too much since I cant stand looking at it anymore whoever owned the car before me painted it red, then painted it black again, now its chipped and I can see red paint.....driving me crazy looking at it.....hopefully the new one will be here this week

Your car is freakin' awesome. I love the way it looks...but...I saw you have "350" hood emblems. Isn't the LS1 a 346?
