billet grill...

billet grill...

been thinking about putting a billet grill on the z28... can i keep my fogs lights? or will it not fit?

My previous car had one- it fit w no problems..slightly less output from fogs but still worked just fine.

just a thought, but isnt there a chance that the reflective parts of the grille wold disperse the light shining through it, potentially producing glare? somebody else with more experience could probably confirm or debunk this.

Depending on the style of grill I suppose that is possible- mine was brushed finish and painted black between the grills so it wasn't really possible with mine.

I would think the actual grill itself would have to be rather deep, widely spaced and highly polished to scatter enough light to make a difference...but I suppose it could be possible.

i have one... my only complaint is it not fitting perfect around the sides. i havesnt noticed a difference in light output or glare.

my post was more food for thought than anything. ive never seen a billet grill on a camaro in person, so i dont know the finer details.

That black grill looks good standard did you buy it like that or paint it? I have the same grill in billet but im changing my bumper I'd be willing to sell it if anybody's interested.
