i say paint the center cap too, i was gonna paint mine black, but i think im gonna hold off till i get new rims then ill experiment. charcoal looks very good IMO

 

I'd rather have the Datsun in the background than your car with the black wheels. Get a nice set of wheels, or a take-off set from SLP. Other than that your car looks good.

 

I've personaly never been a fan of painting any wheels black... I just think at first glance they look like the hubcap came off a Hyundia Accent.. but it's always nice to see a change.

how did you paint them? did you sand them down, primer them or add a clear coat??

 

Pinto? There's no Pinto in the pic.

 

I painted them the lazy man's way. I just applied several coats of black metallic spray paint I got at OSH, then used brake fluid to clean the excess of that lip to retain the silver color. It's not show quality but it gets the job done for me. Especially you can get salad shooters for next to nothing. As for the Pinto, you can see the pic of it in my webshots album.

Oh yeah, I gave and painted the centers black. I left the center part of them with the chrome and camaro logo. It looks pretty good, not too much different. Ill get a new pic of em tommorow.
