Best rims that work with a blue SS?

Hey all, i was thinking either cragar SS's
http://camaroz28.cardomain.com/membe...848_2_full.jpg

in 17's or
those bullet wheels
http://www.tradeunion.com/verdewheels/bullett.html

But when i went to a local car meet i saw a blue camaro ss just like mine with polished stock SS wheels and it looked like crap. I want something that is going to look good but not cheezy, i find it hard to put rims on a color like blue. I mean with black you can go chrome and it will look good, or you can go grew painted and it still looks good, same goes for red or silver, but blue it looks akward. I am just trying to decide what i should do. I want to get new rims within in the next few months. thanks

I think the Cragar/Torque Thrust style wheels are too common. I like the Boyd Coddington Timeless 5s on camaros.

i was thinkin something a little different, i have yet to see an SS around here with cragar SS's on it. I was thinkin the bullet stang wheels cause they match my grey interior. But i kinda want chrome ones, since i already have the grey SS titanium wheels

freshly polished chrome looks 10x more clean than any other type of wheel. The design is your call, I personally think Z06's would look sick but I'm a little biased.

I'm not too keen on chrome wheels, but I have to agree with the posts above. They look great on the NBM cars. Especially good with electron blue...

You have to compare and shop around for the right look. The camaro navy blue will accept chrome ok. Blue is somewhat tempermental, so your wheel pick will have to be a good one.

It is my opinion, but chrome works well on certain colors, and not quite so well on others. You may find that some of the better rims that are polished may look better with the navy than some other sets that are chrome. You also have another dilemma: Your wheel should still fit within the "SS's" character. This is an important aspect that you should be careful not to overlook.

The best wheel for you is the best one that looks good to YOU, so look long and hard, compare, and decide on the rims to get. Good luck. I am partial to a high quality polished wheel, but that's beside the point.
