Best headlight bulb

I want to swap out the stock (lowbeam) headlight bulbs, and I need some recommendations on what to buy at a local automotive store, that emits a blue light similar to the ones on the newer BMW's. Thanks

There is no way you can get even close to getting the look of hid bmw's by just switching bulbs
for that you need a ($400 at its cheapest) hid kit
now if you just want some good bulbs i would suggest silver stars very pure white light and from far away give off a purplish gray color

Just to clear things up, you CAN duplicate the APPEARANCE of the BMW 5000k-6000k HID by getting HIGH WATTAGE 5000k or 6000kBULBS. NOKYA ARCTIC PURPLE 100w would be the best choice.

HOWEVER YOU WILL NOT BE DUPLICATING THE OUTPUT OF THE BMW HID's, JUST THE LOOK, AND YES THIS IS ILLEGAL.

Please use the search feature, this topic has been discussed and illustrated at GREAT lengths about once a month.

Search for keyword "HID", "BULB", "BULBS" "HEADLIGHTS" and you will find what you need.

MAKE SURE to get the actual 100w bulbs.

Also, if you want the Lexus / Mercedes HID look, then you want the Arctic blue, not the purple.

If you don't get the true 100w, you will NOT duplicate the HID look.

I didn't think that you could safely run a 100 watt bulb with the stock wiring?

Yup you can, but I wouldn't go over 100w, and a heavy duty harness is always recommended for best performance.

Don't trust photos... WAY too many variables.

I will try and host my comparison video again.

(4300 Nokya 100w Arctic Blue vs stock 2002 Z28)

There are a few pics of my current 5000k setup on page 2 of my page.

In my opinion, 5000k-6000k is the sweet spot.

Also, in my opinion, HID is 100% worth the investment, and I will be getting HID this year.
