Its definetly not rice, but I dont think its nice either.

However, I think it could look nice if the black faded to the body color underneath the tail lights if you catch my drift. It would make it look like it was supposed to be that way. The way they are in all these pics, the black ends abruptly, and if you ask me it makes it look like someone got in a fender bender and got used parts that they never bothered to paint to replace it.

 

You can see mine in my sig, I like it. It doenst get as much attention as I imagined it would. In all the time Ive had it not one person has mentioned anything about it without me pointing it out first.

 

It simply doesnt look like like it belongs. I mean even the Sunfires and TAs that come with a rear black panel at least have it worked into the lines of the back of the car. The black panel (as mentioned before) looks like you slapped on a panel and havent painted it yet.

Reminds me of the sport compacts I see driving around with the ground effects on the car that havent been painted yet!

And yes, you have misused the term "rice."

You need to add a third option: "fugly"

 

reminds me of the 1st gen camaro's with black tail panels, coincidence very nice, not sure sure how it would fit rice, its not a yellow panel on a black car, or pink or something like that, just something that reflects what some of the old camaro's had.
