First of all, post in the right forum.

Second, I think most Berger cars had chrome inserts in the panels. Hunt around for some pics, you might complete the package with that.

Dude, check out my car in the sig below. It's the same set up as yours, only an lt1 with the red/white tail lights. I think mine looks especially good becuase it is gloss black and has the silver CAMARO inserts. I get compliments on the panel all the time. I have seen the flat black ones in person, and (i am biased) I like mine better. Just seems to flow with the rest of the shiny paint on the car.

Best of luck,

John

i'm definantly a fan of the satin black opposed to gloss, but now that i've seen yours with the SLP decal and the silver fill-in's, damn that looks a lot better.

i have my SLP decal from SLP customer race day packed away somewhere, maybe i should find that and put it on. definantly doesn't looked "pulled from the junkyard" with both of those things on there.

Thanks guys. It's no decal, that's a raised chrome piece. Adds a little something.

Good luck,

John

I love my friends berger panel on his mystic teal Z. I know if my car wasn't black i would be doing one.

I had mine painted gloss black on my old '96. It looked great after I put red CAMARO letters on.....made it go better with the rest of the car.

Re: berger panels - cool online but in real life aparently ugly

As you can see from the responses in this forum of how many people have them, Berger panels are the new overdone appearance mod. I guess it works since you have a z28, I could never put a Berger panel on my v6, it'd be like putting z28 emblems on my car, I couldn't rice my car out like that.

Same here. Definetely not overdone. You just asked for pics and opinions on a board viewed by the entire world...what'd you expect? It's a good looking mod.

I'm with you on that one. Just always kind of stuck out in a bad way to me.
