berger panel...yes or no?

ok i have been comtemplating this for a while now. pretty much the only thing i have appearance wise on my car are 17" chrome ZR1's. and the rear "camaro" letters are painted black instead of buying the fill ins.anyways i have seen 2 different camaros today alone with the berger panel and i really wana do it but im still not sure, since i dont know the paint color of my car and i dont wanna do it then hate it and not be able to go back. anyways, here is a picture of my car right now...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...x/DSCN0278.jpg

this is a photochop of it with the berger panel and also blackouts with yellow "camaro" letters
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...onceptrear.bmp

that is most likely how i would do it for right now with the exception of the blackouts and i would try to find a color yellow that matched pretty well. either that or maybe down the road i will buy some chrome fill ins.

so i need some oppinions. please everyone tell me what you think. i want a LOT of different oppinions on this. what do you guys think.thanks

Either way really, but if you do the panel I wouldn't put on black outs.

I think having a yellow Z a pretty unique in itself. Although the berger panel would look sweet to. The only thing I wouldnt do is both the berger and the blackouts. I would do one or the other. Too much black in the rear will look out of place. Also maybe do yellow CAMARO inserts in the berger panel if you do it.

I've never been a big fan of the berger panel, but after I saw what it would look like on your yellow Z I say go for it. As far as on other colors I've seen it on I just don't like it.

Re: berger panel...yes or no?

it looks good, bud, but bergers are starting to get overdone, that's my only drawback.

It would look good gloss black without the black outs. Get the stainless steel fill-ins and paint them yellow. Thats what I did to mine except my car is pewter. Do what YOU think would look good.

Thats the tough part. I saw some Yellow stangs with flat and it looked ok. Hmm its hard to say on a Yellow Z...

I don't like berger panels, but that's just my $0.02

It doesn't look natural on a 4th gen, to me.

i'm with him^^. It looks good on red or hugger orange but i don't think it looks good on yellow. Don't put blackouts on it for sure.

Re: berger panel...yes or no?

I was thinking about a berger panel, especially if I get a black hood (I was in an accident and my front end is pretty nasty, a friend in FL will sell/send me his black hood for $25 so that's a hard deal to refuse), sorta want to photochop it first tho

Re: berger panel...yes or no?

Do the Panel!!!! If you are thinking about it you will LOVE it, just like i do! But it really is a hit or miss with people's opinions! I bought another panel from a junkyard for $20 and went that route so if i didnt like it or when i decide to go back stock i still have my stock!! BTW my car is red!!! I did satin and i sorta wish i had went with flat! I Just bought a SS emblem from the rear of a 60's chevelle so im waiting to fill in the CAMARO and keyhole and center the badge! I also did the black headlight mod and have a black top so it looks smooth together!!! but get an extra panel and you cant go wrong
