Berger panel w/o CAMARO indentions?
I don't think you can just buy them like that. All the ones I have see have been custom. Its not really that hard if you wanted to try. I think most people are just filling them in with bondo and then sanding them down and painting, I guess you could also use fiberglass or something.
Thats what I thought. When I had my 99 I removed the front plastic piece, and filled in those holes with bondo and sanded and painted myself. Looks Like I got a good project for myself once the weather gets nice.
i havent had any problems at all with mine. i did it like 2 years ago. just used the regualr bondo that you get from autozone. u have to scuff up where the bondo is going so it holds, and build it up nice and sand it, then reapply more bondo and then smooth, over and over till everythings nice and even and smooth, then wetsand, to see if you have any flaws, then a corser sand paper to scuff it up a bit to hold the primer, and then your final coat or whatever paint your using. i used a flat black so i didnt buff it out of anything. I'm going to be making another one for my new camaro. i have a rear panel ready to start work on.
ive always wanted to somehow change the letters from camaro to supersport. but it would take a long time and a lot of work to do and most people wouldnt notice it was any different. maybe just like a custom make puffed out letter to spell out suspersport insted. like the emblems that are on out cars. i'll have to do some brain storming and see what i can come up with

cool my car in the pic. I did the same as the red ss. I just bought a spare panel and some bondo for nonmetal parts and went to work. I had no experience but what i read on the back of the bondo. make sure you sand the panel down before you start so the bondo can stick. Also dont put too mouch on at a time...it will crack. Build it up and sand down till smooth. Then paint. Took me a few days working at it on and off. Turned out great and has held up over two years. I did not fill in the lock hole, and I drilled two holes for the 96 Z/28 studs. Its worth the try whole project cost me about $50.

Yeah, there are two(?) bolts in your trunk (10 mm?). I think you have to take your taillights out first, then unbolt the panel. I am about to buy an extra panel and start working on it for my car.
There are 4 plastic wing nuts that hold the tail lights in, you must remove them first, then there are 4 bolts(10mm), 2 towards the middle and one on each side. It is easiest to remove the spare tire so you can have some working room to remove the bolt on the passenger side
