Berger Panel

I know it is overdone, but I need more cosmetic stuff on my car and I've always liked it. Who sells it and is it flat black or gloss?

I think i would prefer it to be flat black and then put some reflective red lettering in there. Would be a nice touch...

Just gauging interest, if it is reasonably priced, i might do it.

Re: Berger Panel

No one to my knowledge sells berger panel. Most people make their own. You can either use your stock panel, or purchase a panel from someone whos selling one. To paint it will cost you no more than $10 in paint, and a bit of sandpaper.

Reflective letters can be purchased from here:

Re: Berger Panel

too bad they didnt offer that carbon fiber one without the camaro lettering, if they did i bet there would be SOME interest in it just to paint over it and not worry about bondo messing up after a year or two .

Anyways tfs, your best bet is to get another one at a junkyard if you're concerned about messing up your original one. Also, if you're not too sure on gloss or flat i have some pics in my sig of a gloss black one with reflective red lettering (also picture qaulity is decent but it doesnt show the reflection in the paint as well as i found out some cameras can lol)

Some people like the flat black, some like glossy. I have the glossy black. Cost me bout $100 to get it, some guy on the forum was selling it. My neighbor repainted it so it looks brand new. Added the badges (extra like $20) and then put CAMARO in silver vinyls. Then the Z28 badge couldn't be seen, so I put that in silver also.

Re: Berger Panel

the gloss does look good, but i think i like the contrast of the flat black.

Anybody know how to do this yourself?

Re: Berger Panel

IMO I don't like it, but also if you have it flat black. It makes it look unpainted (primered) so then it takes away from the car.
