Does anyone have any pictures of a camaro with the berger mod done, and tail light blackouts? I'm considering it, but I'm not sure if it would look silly. Thanks!

I've seen pics on LS1tech and I think it looks like ***. Black glossy taillights with a flat black tail panel. Too much black that doesn't flow. Plastic blackouts REALLY make it look bad. Tinted lights are bad enough.

 

I don't know if it will make a difference, but my berger panel is a glossy black. I tried doing a photoshop.. and being a graphic design major with less than a year left for my B.A., I still couldn't get it to look right. Thats why i'm asking for actual pictures.

 

Here you go. This is on a quasar blue color. I used the VHT niteshades tint spray, and the panel is actually gloss black, but that blends better w/ the shiny taillights IMHO. I got the vinyl inserts from Brent Franker for the rear 'CAMARO' and the bowtie emblem to be the same blue as the car. I get many compliments! I say go for it!

I had a berger panel and thought about it, but I could make up my mind if I wanted to Nightshade the whole tail light or just the red part and the white reverse lights so it still flowed with the lines of the trunk. Then after my wreck I gave the berger panel to my mom for her car.

I say buy a black berger panel off of someone parting out a black car so if you like it you can keep it, if not just resell it.

Just so we're all on the same page, my berger panel is already painted a glossy black and i've installed brent's vinyls. Now that I see some of these pictures, I think I want to go through with the blackouts!

I cant really say if that looks bad or good. It's one of those things I'd just have to try on for a while.
