I have to tell you all of them are nice i prefer the harwood hood, for one because i have it and also you really can't see too many of them around. Most people go with the ss hood or the slp one but anyways thats just my opinion.Check out my sig for better pics of the harwood hood, page 4 has most recent pics!!!

Re: Battle of the ram air hoods.

I think it really depends on the color of the car. I think the Ultra Z looks really good on red. I think the Z-Style looks best on Black. I really don't care for the harwood or the ZL2 hood.

I like the Harwood and I own it. The ZL2 looks good but it might be hard to make functional. The other 2 look ugly to me and they are very common.

Out of those choices, I think the ZL2 looks best, because it looks closest to the stock SS hood. To be honest, I don't think any of them compare to the stock '93-'97 SS Ram-Air hood. Just my opinion though.

Re: Battle of the ram air hoods.

none of the above. make the DGM big block hood functional and you have a winner. http://www.dgmotorsports.com/process...&ProcessType=1 or http://www.dgmotorsports.com/process...&ProcessType=1

the LS1 in this style is already functional.

Re: Battle of the ram air hoods.

I love the regular Harwood cowl without the "ram-air", but since it wasn't a choice, I voted ZL2.

I voted ZL2, but I like the Harwood better.

I like the "big block" hood or whatever its called. I know Grippenfelter has this, TreyZ28 did too

If you want bang for the buck. My Harwood was only $229.

Out of those choices, Ultra Z. I surprisingly don't see too many of those around here in Houston, but whenever I do, I always get excited . Second would have to be the Harwood .
