I always thought that the tight shade of baby blue would look pretty killer on a newer (older-not sure the years, around '96) Impala SS. Never really thought about it for a Camaro though. I wouldn't get to overboard with the white. You want it to look smooth, not choppy. Choppy = Overuse of second color. The more you leave stuff baby blue, the better it will flow.

My Opinions =
Ground Effects - NO WHITE!
Rear Views - No White.
Manta Decal - White. (If you must have it).
Commando Wing - Leave Off!
SS Hood Grill and Front End Grill - CHROME! Old school Style!
Light colors look good with chrome. Not to "BLINGISH" if used correctly.

Re: Baby Blue and white Camaro?

If you have some photos of your car I can do some concept photos for you...

Honest opinion:

On a LS1, this could be done, and done well, but it depends on several things:

- Most importantly, what kind of wheels are you going to be running ? That makes all the difference in the world, when it comes to a custom/show setup.

- Lose the manta vinyl graphics (white is a BITCH for vinyl) and go with custom airbrushed accents on the SS Hood instead...

- Leave the mirrors blue

- Leave the bodykit blue, and if you plan to enter shows, consider having the front and rear clip molded. If you plan to win shows, consider molding the sideskirts as well.

- Consider a custom brake swap

- Shave body side moldings

- Interior: Take a hint from custom car show winners... DON'T MIX AND MATCH COLORS. GO ALL ONE COLOR.

Wow, sweet thx! I'm seriously going to have to consider those gfx.

As a matter of fact, I'd love to get them molded in like yours. I just asked you this in another post but how much would getting them molded in cost me?

EDIT: You already responded in the other post so I don't need it here too. Thx.

Baby blue huh.... be interesting to see the finished product, but the only thing I can think of when I hear baby blue is HONDA. There is a very nicely done prelude in my area in baby blue with a white interior.

Make sure you get some pics up of your car when you're done, i'd like to see how it turns out!

I think the Z06 Electric blue would look better than the baby blue. perhaps pu12 can shop that one?

First off thanks everyone for your opinions and pictures.
Im not sure what rims Ill be getting yet to tell the truth I havent really thought about it yet I know I wont have the money for rims for a while.
I was thinking the same thing about the manta graphics Ill just get my body man to airbrush it on.
About the kit being molded I do want to do that Ill probably have to just put it on then have it molded to blend better when I get some extra cash.
"About how much would this cost without paint?"
I do plan on shaving the side moldings and door handles.
Brake swap would be a while down the road.
About the interior I was gonna paint the dash and all pieces like a cream color not white. White would be to bright and then get racing seats and have them covered in Baby Blue leather with cream accents to match the interior. What you think about that?
And ill will try to post some pics once I get my kit on to give A better Idea. "My car Is all diffrent colors so you will have to bear with it Its under construction"
Keep the opinions coming!
