B&M hammerhead shifter will this fit on my car?

Hello everyone i have a 1995 firebird formula 6spd with a pro 5.0 shifter with lous short stick. I've been checking out alot of different shift ***** and wanted to know if the B&M hammerhead t-handle would fit on my car? Thats one of the best shift handles i've seen and really want it. If it can't fit i guess i would get one from flameball.com

Thanks in advance

It wont fit, the "hole" is way too small.

If the shifter hole is way too small you should be able to drill and tap it to fit

If you know the thread you need you can go to the hardware store and get a tap that will cut new threads into the handle.
On the tap package it will tell you the drill bit size you need for that tap. You just need to drill out the handle and run the tap through it. Make sure while tapping you go a 1/2 turn foreward, then 1/4 turn back over and over.

You guys do know that B&M makes a Hammer head specifically for Fbody's, right?

I've had two. They fit great.5

Edit: That pic isn't a Hammer Head T-handle, and the stock shifter hole size is 16mm.

The place where i got my pro 5.0 shifter installed had a guy next door who was a machinist (not sure if i spelled that right). He made a extension so it would fit. Its hard to explain what he did but it looks really good except for the boot falls down sometimes and you can see the metal of my lous short handle. He charged me some $ but it was worth it the shifter looks awesome.

His right about the pic thats the other b&m handle the one i have is the hammerhead t-handle

My point is, you don't have to spend any money on machining at all. B&M makes a Hammer Head specifically to fit T5 and T56 sized threads = No modifications necessary.

I could never find one that fit perfectly for our cars. Where did you find this? Any websites?

Call B&M. They'll give you the part number. Take that to Part Source or Pep Boys and have them order one in.
