Post AVS Headlight blackouts

Anyone have any ideas of a better way to install these other than the provided velcro? It doesn't seem to hold it on very well or fit exactly correct.

Though it does not answer your question, install them in the garbage!!
They fit crappy, and the little pieces of supplied velcro are crap! And trying to bolt them on to existing GTS brackets will not work.Did AVS take over GTS...if so..they took a product and made it worse.
Do the so called"Wade" covers fit and install better???? Anyobe can answer this?

Well they install easy - but the fit isn't exactly right. It just kinda goes over the top of the hood a little extra. It doesn't seem to stick well, that's for sure. GTS went out of business and AVS is what is left.

i drilled holes in the top of the cover, the part tht is under the hood , then i looped wire through the hole and put a little latch thing in the loop and twisted the wire together, then i made another loop of wire and around something under the hood, and hooked the latch on to the second loop, and they were secure and they would be harder to steal(i have had one set stolen, and my passenger side cover is now broken.(if you have a passenger side cover let me know ATL2001@aol.com)
