Yeah, that's called 6th gear in an M6, and it's normal. BTW, based on the picture, you have no way of knowing whether he's accelerating, maintaining, or decelerating.

I would have to hope that it is the functional test that is performed on initial startup where the gauges sweep and the dash lights come on/off. Otherwise, as you noted, driving the car with an ABS INOP, low oil, and low coolant light at that rate of speed is just laughable. But at least he is wearing his seatbelt.

My '02 doesn't do that. His is a '94, and maybe it does, but I don't think any F-body ever has.

Besides, it's an awfully big coincidence that the RPM and speed match up for 6th gear.... Usually when a car does a gauge sweep like that, they all sweep in unison.

I have seen a few f-bodies that have done that sweep like that. so it is not uncommon. not sure which ones do it, or why though.

well thats because most of them are just trying to get him to comment on their ride, just about every comment on peoples pages are like that, i dont really see too many negative comments
