ASR and SS hood

ASR and SS hood
I am looking to put an SS hood on my car but
have a black box over my driver's side valve cover I think this is either the ASR or the cruise control. Will the intake box and tube fit with that? Also, I would like to see any pictures that you have of any aftermarket SS (type) hood.
