Hey everyone! Can the ashtray lid in my 94 z, 6-speed be fixed or does the whole console need to be replaced. Thanks Fingers

 

Well you didn't state what the problem was so I will just tell you about mine. One of the pins came out of the hinge so it wouldn't sit and open right. I heated up a small nail and pushed it through the hole where the old pin was, works good as new.

 

Thanks for your reply. On each side of the ashtray lid there is a piece that sticks out, and fits into a hole in the console part. One of these pieces broke off. I guess i really want to know is do they just sell the lid itself. Is it a hassle to install. Looks like a tight fit if i had a new lid. Thanks. Fingers
