Appearance Mods while my Car is down *Not 56k friendly*

My tranny has been dead since October So while I'm waiting for it to get back I've been doin some minor mods. I replaced most of the lights with LED's from Superbrightleds.com and did a 97+ Interior swap and a JVC KDAVX2 Deck. I'm also working on the rear Panel. Using fiberglass I deleted the rear key hole because my key doesn't really work in it and I only use the FOB/Dash button anyways. Here are some pics

Kinda hard to get pics of the new firebird cluster with Red LED's in it but it looks really really nice in person

I'm in the process of painting it black right now but no new pics. Also have Chrome C A M A R O Lettering for it.

White LED on the plate looks so much classier than the crappy Yellow Lighting stock
Between all the things I've done to it and the built transmission with 3000 Stall, should be a totally different car when I get my trans back *hopefully soon*

Where'd you get the '97 dash? The more I think about it, the more I'd like it in my '95 also.

I got the 97+ interior through a friend, but he pieced it all together off of Ebay. I will be doing a writeup on the swap. I took a buncha pics, and I also made a really really nice Pinout for it that is a better source for the swap than what I've seen around currently. I made it then used it to do the swap. The 95 interior is crap Only 1 Cup holder thats quite annoying is now 4 Cup holders, Better Air Vents *Airbox lines up perfectly BTW* much nicer looking, Extra lighter, ect.

For the Cluster I used WLED Series off of superbrightleds.com and I got the inverted cone style like these:

I got the red ones, 5 I believe. That style bulb works in lots of things. These ones are polarized and only work when put in one way. But they won't blow if you put em the wrong way, just flip em around if they don't work. It's kind of a pain in the *** to trial and error remove/install the cluster so using my pinout I found which pin on the cluster did the illumination and touched a 9V battery to it and the Cluster ground pin to light it up on the table before putting it in.

For the license plate I got one that shines more off to the sides and forward, got this one

That one in Cool White *Warm white looks like crap *

And the Dome light was a 9 LED Festoon, the 4410

Two for the Map light and 1 for the rear dome light. The rear one was a different style bulb, had ridged metal loops on the end instead of the festoon points. Just had to bend the connections a tiny bit and it works fine.

High Spots?

I did red because even with white bulbs it glows red. Blue would be rather faint, we put Red LED's in a 98 camaro and it turned out alright, kinda dim compared to mine. Mines about as bright as his Redline is

High spots is where you had to take it down to the raw plastic.

Your cluster is very bright. I would want blue that bright to. I heard that its actully a white light thats blue but I dont know really. You think I could get a good blue color if I got the bulbs.

Ahh, wasnt sure if that meant it was high spots on the finished product Deffinatly not, it looks good

The pics are extra long exposure, so they're not crazy bright by any means. Its maybe a little bit brighter than factory, but much more brilliant red. The 2nd red cluster I posted was a 98 Camaro, that one is normally white. It looks decent but compare how bright it is to the Odometer. Blue would be pretty good blue color, but not quite as Vivid as the red would turn out in a firebird cluster *mine* I wanna put Blue in mine but it would turn out purple Car is quasar blue, interior lights blue, I wanted it to match but whatever
