Anyone using white shifter overlay on their auto?
Anyone using white shifter overlay on their auto?
Well, I was looking around on Ebay and noticed some overlays for the auto shifter on an LT1. What I really noticed about them was that they had a "1st" gear. Since my car has 2.73's, I don't have the option of 1st on the selector, but like the idea of the white guages to match my dash.
My questions are...
1) Does anyone have a good site suggestion on where to get these at a reasonable price? And.....
2) Has anyone made their own on photopaper? And.....
3) If you have, could you post the link that shows the overlay you're supposed to use? And.....
4) How do you think they'd hold up if I were to print my own with good quality photo paper? I'm concerned about fading issues.
Thanks.

Doesn't matter cars that came with 273's stock dont have the first gear selector on the console.
it also says the gears are "to come"
back to the question the ebay overlays are the homemade ones someone is selling trying to rip off people those came out on ebay like 2 days after the thread on this board about making your own overlays at home.
There are the good ones I got my white faced gauges from him years ago and they are great.

well I just noticed the one on macewen's site doesn't have the overlay without 1st on it. Maybe email him they might be available?
here's the thread where you can make your own overlays.
