Anyone use a aftermarket grill with a license plate?

Anyone use a aftermarket grill with a license plate?
I am required to run both a front and rear plate. I like the look of some of the horizontal bar and screen grills, but wonder if they would look ok with the plate? Has anyone done this? Pictures?

How do you get the front plate mount off? Do you have to get it from behind? I am going to put on my stainless grille today too, but have to put it under the plate mount, then remount the plate. Thanks ---
