Question Anyone shave the antenna on a camaro?

Im seriously considering shaving the antenna on my Z this summer or having a body shop do it. But i was just curious if anyone else has done it and if they have any pics. I really hate the look of that damn thing.

I have one of the short billet antennas on mine. I think it looks pretty cool. I tightened with a wrench so it doesnt "walk off" on me.

Easiest thing to shave (other than when we did the gas tank door) because it is steel unlike the rest of the car...

go here http://www.trucknvans.com/billetacc/ click on antennas. looks like they have them in all diferrent lengths. Mine is a Trenz 12" antenna and my reception is just as good as it was with my stock antenna.

i wouldnt make the antenna 2"...that would just look dumb...cut off 8 or so inches or shave it...or maybe go with the power antenna if your feeling adventurous

If you shave your antenna, do you need to get an internal one? Im not really good on this subject.

What all is involved in a WS6 antenna installation? Sounds like it might look pretty good

If you are gonna cut it down, I would cut it down to about 8 or 9 inches. Gives it a little more sporty look. Either that or shave it completely.
