Anyone seen seen this headliner before?

Here is a site I just happened to run across tonight around 12:30. www.ecklerscamaro.com. Im not sure but I have a feeling someone ordered that for me in my family for a gift. Has anyone heard anything about their products?

While in my search for my Z, I test drove a white auto with red interior. The car also had that headliner. If you have a red interior as well, I think it will look good.

I've heard of the company before, and never heard and negative feedback. Let us know how it turns out, I'm in the market for a replacement headliner in the near future as well.

Ok thanks for the responses. I was told its in the mail and should be here by this coming friday (9th) or earlier. The actual headliner is from www.yearone.com Its a little more expensive, but I HAVE heard of this company. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. I'll probably be ordering some sun visors soon to. Mine are droopy and bent at the ends near the windows...they got to go!

they offer them on ebay as well, but for a cheaper price, around a bill if I recall correctly.

Re: Anyone seen seen this headliner before?

Yeah, your right. I just looked on Ebay and found an ABC plastic headliner for about $120 - 145. With shipping, they turn out about $30 less than what was paid for mine. However, some of those headliners are unupholstered. The one that was ordered is upholstered.

I tried re-upholstering mine and after spending $30 on the pieces, I had to trash it because my headliner broke dead in half (t-tops) and the actual liner would not stick to the board after I spent all that money on the 3M adhesive. I've been without a headliner now for 3 months so I'm just glad that im getting this taken care of.

I purchased one of the ABS headliners when I redid the interior of my Z last fall. It is great. The old one almost disintegrated when I removed. I had planned to have it recovered but ran across this one and am glad I did.

Just to add a few words.......

Ecklers has been around for awhile. I believe they specialize in Corvette restoration. At least, I have a few Corvette catalogs from them.

Re: Anyone seen seen this headliner before?

Are you supposed to cover that or is it just a plastic headliner?

Re: Anyone seen seen this headliner before?

Not sure what you mean but it comes already covered in the fabric of your choice so y ou can either get it to match your present interior or get it to offset it.

Re: Anyone seen seen this headliner before?

I have installed the headliner a couple days ago. It went horrible. I am so pissed off that the thing is just really oversized! I have pics posted up on cardomain.com. However, I just started a new site there since I lost my member name and password and dont think that its up and running even though the page is saved and has pics of the headliner in it. Anyway, if the webmaster puts it up eventually, you can see it by searching for the member name Cam34aro or just look for camaros in Delaware.

I have called yearone.com since then and they said that they would make another one for me free of charge. So I believe I should be getting that one in soon and then send the other back in its place.

That's your website. From those pics, you might want to be really aggressive in getting your money back. You can pick up another one (stock) for that price and its guaranteed to fit!

Re: Anyone seen seen this headliner before?

I just picked up a kit from pep boys for $30. The material seems to be better than the factory material. Unfortunately It's been sitting in my closet for months now cause one of my t-tops is broken and won't come off.
