Hey guys. Ive been wanting to do something custom and cool. But i dont know much about doing custom body work. Like with fiberglass and bondo...

So i was thinking about taking a trans am formula front clip and putting it on my camaro. Im thinking the 98-02 on mine or the 93-97 style. I love them both..

Can it be done? Anyone got any pics? I seen one on youtube like this and loved it.....

Bobby, if you decide to go through with this project, I'd say go for the LS1-style front end like the guy on tech there that TD posted did. Whatever you do, please don't put that '67 Shelby-looking hatch on your car

 

trust me i wont... i like the hatch though, but they look alot better with the normal hatch...


and i will do the ls1 front end.... do you know if the ls1 doors wil bolt right p and line up with the latch area? or will i have to mold my own in like he did?

 

and do you know if its a direct bolt and go? besides he lights of course

 

I can't tell you for sure, Bobby. I just got done reading that entire thread from tech (whew!) from the sound of things you probably would though. I take back what I said about that hatch, as the project took shape, I actually ended up really liking it. It ended up morphing into something very pleasing to the eye. Go for this project, man, and finish it. I was very sad to learn that this guy on tech sold the car in the midst of the project

Yeah, most def. Did you look at that thread? That crazy-lookin' blue formy has me half tempted to try and find an LT1 formula hood for my Z

 

i say do it, i love the way they look on our camaros..... i might get one myself,, that or on ss hood

 

Yeah I've been stuck between an SS hood and a harwood cowl with a mail slot in the front, now the formy hood's come into the picture, what to do what to do lol

 

This car looks awesome, expect of course for the hatch lol. I wonder why guy just didn't buy a WS6 its the same thing basically. Also for him to do all this great work, money and time just to sale it is disappointing.

Question: anyone know what kind of spoiler that is on the back? I like it, Its similar to RS but is attached on the sides.

I am and always be a camaro man, but man the ws6 hood and body package is sweet
