as you can see i have done it. It really isnt that hard but do your homework and study a couple of write ups til you know for sure what cuts and what not to make. The total cost for me was about 500 bucks, got the t top kit on ebay. And it is DEFINETLY worth the effort, time, and money. Probably the best appearance mod i have done to my car. They really come in handy on those nice summer nights going down the freeway at 70mph

I did it, you can see sides pics of my car in my profile, nothing up close. Its looks like stock. It ended up costing me about $800 because I couldnt use the remaining roof piece and had to buy and paint a new one.

I love it and still do but I am starting to have doubts because when you sell the car....I dont know many people that would be into custom body work

By the way, its suprisingly easy to do, just measure 8 times and cut once.

Cool

Yep! Works fine. DO YOUR HOMEWORK though. I downloaded the pictures from the DW site and put them on my dads laptop. I would check out each pic before and after I cut/bent/etc. This really helped and made me feel more secure about the way I was doing it. Cost about 500 off ebay with headliner and everything.

Good Luck!

John

targa tops are sexy. will my car wrap around or twist in case an accident happens? i mean, if I cut he center beam? I think the targa will be made by glueing the two t-tops and then laying some layers of Fiber Glass.
