Anyone here replaced the rocker panel before?

I've got a 94 camaro and the rust is eating through the rocker panel from the inside out. I repainted it last June and the rust has come back so I must have missed a crack or pinhole or something. Anyway, has anyone replaced the rocker panel before? It looks like a PITA, and I don't have much time right now. Any idea how much a body shop would charge to replace and repaint the outer rocker panel?

prolly a pretty penny to have it fixed or a bitch to do yourself. the rocker panels on these cars are VERY important to the integrity of the chassis. your best bet would be to cut it open, find out where the rust is getting at it, get rid of everything, weld in new pieces of sheetmetal, blend it together and paint it, but like i said, its a pretty important part on these cars. someone else might chime in who has actually done it. thats the best i can give ya tho... good luck!
