Anyone here have a Metallic Blue Camaro

I know they exist and have seen a pic before, but anyone have any pics, I'm debating getting my car stripped and completely repainted bright blue. I know the color came on 99 vettes and I've seen a camaro with it before.

I have both. The blue on Camaros was called Quazar Blue Matallic and the blue on the Vettes was called Nasua Blue. Look at my webshots page for pics of both. Also, keep in mind if you do decide to repaint...blue cars are faster.

That's Quasar Blue Metalliic. He's talking about Bright Blue Metallic like this:

It was a '99-only color for the F-Bodies. The C5 also had it under the name "Nassau Blue Metallic". Pretty rare color.

mmmmmm that's it. Thanks a lot, gives me a hard on everytime I see it.

Hopefully by the end of the winter I'll have enough cash to have my car stripped and painted up. Now I'm just debating whether or not to have the entire under hood compartment repainted as well, or if I should keep it black.

If you think it i rare on Camaros, it is VERY VERY rare on my 2000 FRC(ZO6 body) Vette.

It was only on 198 FRC's, which I didn't know before I tore it up and made a racecar out of it...Oh well, it looks great on the track.

maybe i'd like that color better if i saw it in person, but in the pics it seems too light for my tastes....
