i had carbon fiber tails on my car. they looked terrible. i agree, they look good in the picture, but when they're on the car, the outer clear lens just looks so shiny, and it stands out like a sore thumb. i had them on for about a month, then pulled them off and sold them. IMO, it made my car look ricey with the carbon fiber tails.

just my opinion, but i would stay far away from those.

 

My theory is that Carbon Fiber does not belong anywhere on the outside of a vehicle.

 

Personally...

I'd get them, and slap on my blackouts..
I'm not big on CF, which is better than the chrome version of those tail lights IMO : /, but I do like the light arrangment. (corvette style double oval)

It's different, but I want to see them lit up both durring night and day with some blackouts on em..

The only issue there is that the light areas are rimmed with chrome rims.. no biggie though.. Still nice. Still want to see them blacked out..

Now that all joking is aside. I dont think the black ones would look too bad, never seen them on a car before.
