I was talking about this car today but couldn't find any pics, anyone have some that they saved?

 

Never heard of him. It might help if you said the color and body style of other details about the car. I probably have pics if I liked it.

 

It was a white Z28 with 20s a mecham hood etc he lived out in vegas as i recall and sold the car about 3 years ago. The general concesus was that his was the first car to pull off 20s and look really good.
He hasnt been on the boards since he sold the car and his website is gone now. The car was extremely popular about 4 yrs ago, i figured someone would have some pics saved somewhere.

judging from the how the car looks, I'd say yes.

 

wow............it's been ages since I've thought about Crackhed Matt.

I styled my cutout after his......wouldn't have thought it without him.

 

I wouldn't exactly say that he was a crack head per se......but I remember some godawful stories about him. I also have wondered about what happened to him since getting back into the Z28 scene after being away for about 7 years. He and I went back and forth for a while trying to get someone to make genuine Carbon Fiber emblems. Remember this was back in '97 or '98 if I can remember right. I had trashed mine the first week I bought my Z and had some overlay stickers in place. He sent me one of his fender emblems (which I have on my garage refridge to this day) so that I could see about getting a fabricator to make some prototypes for us. He was just starting his LVF-Body club and I was a scrub stationed out on the East Coast. Long story short, he ended up getting the emblems made....he had some crazy side gig making some crazy money......lived in a house that would have been the equivelent of something you'd see on Cribs today....all kinds of crazy stuff.

If he's out there, it would be cool if he'd drop a line to the CZ28.com crew sometime.

Since he kinda was a founding "legend" here way back when alot of you guys were prolly still in Mid or Jr High....

Didn't he get involved in the adult film industry........producing his own websites and taking pictures of neked honeys and such?

I seem to remember threads that evolved that end of conversation some years ago.

Could be thinking of some other dude though..........dunno
