This one is on Ebay. But I wondered if anyone had this particular hood style. Doesn't have to be this manufacturer, just the hood. I really like the look of it. I know it looks a lot like the TA hood, but it's the only thing I've found that has the dual ram air style like that aside from the Ultra Z hood, which I don't really like. Any input would be appreciated. Even if you don't have it, just what you think. Thanks

 

I've seen it in person on a few cars, and I don't really like it. It just doesn't look right on a Camaro IMO.

 

I've seen it in person as well. It just doesn't flow well with the Camaro's lines IMHO.

Yeah, that hood goes much better with a 98+ Firebird. The SS hood looks badass on the camaro though.

Preaching to the choir here, it might look good on a Trans Am, but not a Camaro. The Camaro is too flat and not "bumpy" or "beveled" like the Trans Am, so it doesnt fit that well.

 

Those look ugly as hell on any Camaro. Bad *** on a 98+ Formula's and Trans Am's ONLY. On any other car, ESPECIALLY third gens and LT1 ANYTHING, they look horrible.

 

Haha....well I guess I got everyones opinion on that one. I agree it doesn't fit the body lines as well as other style hoods. I just really like that hood. I like the SS style hood a lot, but since that's what just about everyone else goes with I wanted to do something different. Maybe I'll stick with my original plan of a cowl.

 

I actually like that hood on a 3rd gen. Well, not that exact hood. Someone makes one that's a little more square, not so rounded. It fits well with the 3rd gen's body that's all squares and right angles.

 

You could go with a harwood cowl induction hood. They have the opening on the front like the slp but bigger with some sharp lines.? Just a thought cause I have only seen 2-3 with that hood
