Yeah, my friend has one on his camaro. It was called the "big block hood". I think American Sports car Design made that hood.

I've seen it on camaros before, just never on birds, I'm still kinda iffy on it, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.

I stumbled across this trying to find good prices on the lt1 ws6 hoods. I want to get a hood with functional ram air for my formula. Anyone know of somewhere that has good prices?

What they said is correct from what I know, but it is a copy of a Corvette stinger hood http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...dept%5Fid=1356

The lines seem to go well w/the bird in the pic.

Yep that scoop is originally for a 67 vette. But IMO it only looks good on some 68-72 Nova's, 67-69 Camaro's, and 67-72 Vette's. Not on a 4th gen f-body.

looking at the front of it, it doesn't look that bad, but once I look down it towards the back of the hood, I start to not like it. Maybe if it went wider in the back like the ram air hoods do.

I just googled "American sportscar design" and that is where you will find it for about$490.00.

I like the stock hood best honestly, the 2 nostrils are cool.

Or I also like this hood
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1993-...ayphotohosting

that hood looks like the batmobile or something but it just doesn't match to lines of the car. I would think about that hard before buying it.
